Edinson Cavani, F, Uruguay ($19.00 vs Colombia): With Luis Suarez suspended by FIFA for his altercation against Italy, it will be Cavani expected to pick up the slack on the offensive end. He is a nice value at this price level, and he'll team with
Diego Forlán, F, Uruguay ($14.00 vs Colombia): Forlán is expected to start against Colombia with Suarez sidelined, and he had a shot on target, three crosses and a corner kick in the first match when he started for the injured Suarez. He is a great value if he is indeed tabbed to start as expected.
Panagiotis Kone, M, Greece ($16.75 vs Costa Rica): Kone is a great value at a mid-level price, as he was in the positive in Fantasy points in each of his first three group matches. he managed five crosses, five fouls won and three corner kicks with two shots on target. He'll be busy for the Grecians again, and should post at least four to five Fantasy points, and more if he can etch his name onto the scoresheet.
David Luiz, D, Brazil ($18.25 vs Chile): Luiz failed to get one into the back of the net, but he did post an assist with two shots on target, two crosses and one clean sheet. His Fantasy results would be even better had he not had two fouls committed in each of his past two fixtures. Still, he'll be a vital cog for the host nation, and another clean sheet is certainly possible.
Marcelo, D, Brazil ($18.00 vs Chile): Marcelo was busy in the group stages, and a must-have in the final two matches. He managed four or more Fantasy points in each of the three stage games, and an assist, six crosses and a foul won with a clean sheet in the final two matches.
Jackson Martínez, F, Colombia ($16.00 vs Uruguay): Martínez posted a pair of goals in the final group stage game, and he is a nice value against a Uruguayan team which is a mess on the defensive end.
Keylor Navas, G, Costa Rica ($23.00 vs Greece): Navas is a tremendous Daily Fantasy option, as he will be facing one of the least offensively gifted teams in the four weekend games. Navas has a great chance at his third straight clean sheet.
Arjen Robben, F, Netherlands ($22.00 vs Mexico): Robben posted at least a goal or an assist in each of the three group stage matches, and he is a good bet to extend his point streak to four games against El Tri. In StatClash.com games, Robben posted 16 or more Fantasy points in each of his first three games.
Alexis Sánchez, F, Chile ($21.00 vs Brazil): Sánchez and the Chileans face a difficult match against host nation Brazil, but if anyone is going to score, it will be Sánchez. He posted 14.75 or more Fantasy points in two of the three group stage games, and even though he went without a goal and assist in the past two matches, he still accounted for four crosses, eight corner kicks and 11 fouls won during the span.
