For Saturday, Nov. 2, there are eight games in the National Basketball Association. The Chicago-Philadelphia (7:30pm ET) game is nationally televised on NBATV.
At DraftDay.com, they have 'Rapid Fire' games, you have five head-to-head matchups to choose from each day. It is rather simple. You choose the player you think will score the most Fantasy points that day. If you get at least three matchups correct, you win.
For Saturday's NBA action, here are the following matchups:
James Harden, G, HOU over Anthony Davis, F, NO: I like both, and each has a favorable matchup. I think Harden will score plenty against the Jazz, and A.D. is at home against Al Jefferson, who can't defend anyone. However, Harden just fills up the stat sheet with so many points, he is hard to avoid.
Derrick Rose, G, CHI over Kyrie Irving, G, CLE: This is a tough one, but Irving might struggle against the Indiana Pacers, who are a solid defensive club. Sure, the 76ers are 2-0, but they were picked to be the worst team in the league, and the air will come out of those sails shortly.
Dwight Howard, C, HOU over DeMarcus Cousins, C/F, SAC: Howard won't face a whole lot of opposition in Salt Lake City from the Jazz frontcourt, having his way on the glass. Cousins should do well against the defensively-lax Warriors, but you can't go against the Manchild.
Rudy Gay, F, TOR over Derrick Favors, F/C, UTA: This is probably the toughest matchup on the board. Milwaukee likes to go, so Toronto should get roped into an up-tempo game, giving Gay more chances.
Roy Hibbert, C, IND over Gordon Hayward, G, UTA: This one shouldn't even be close. Hibbert (knee) was a question mark going into Wednesday's game in New Orleans, but he was healthy. His minutes were limited because he got into foul trouble. He has had two full days to rest his ailing knee, and he should post a healthy stat line against the Cavaliers.
