SO YOU WANT A BIG TICKET ITEM?
John Wall, G, Washington ($19855 at CHA): Wall has has some very impressive stat lines lately, going for 31.5 or more Fantasy points in 11 of his past 15 games. Wall also has averaged 29.97 Fantasy points in nine career games against the Bobcats. He should produce in this head-to-head battle against Bobcats G Kemba Walker ($13888).
If you spend big up top, you're going to need some fillers to bring down your average per player salary. Check out these steals from the bargain bin:
Jimmy Butler, F/G, Chicago ($11093 vs PHO): Butler may or not be in the starting lineup for head coach Tom Thibodeau, but what is clear is that Butler's role will be on the increase following the trade of Luol Deng to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Butler has managed 22 or more Fantasy points in each of his past four, and five of the past six since his return from injury.
Paul George, F, Indiana ($16076 vs TOR): George has posted 20 or more Fantasy points in 10 straight games, including a 20-point effort in Toronto on New Year's Day. He'll be looking to atone for a 5-for-14 shooting night in that game. He has averaged 27.07 Fantasy points per game in 11 career outings against the Raptors, so he'll see plenty of production.
Kemba Walker, G, Charlotte ($13888 vs WAS): Walker is a much better Fantasy option at home, posting 29.07 points per game in the Queen City, and 24.81 Fantasy points per game on the road. In eight career games against Washington, Walker is averaging 27.2 Fantasy points. He is a solid play in this head-to-head battle against Wall and the Wiz.
Mike Dunleavy, F, Chicago ($9193 vs PHO): Following the Luol Deng-Andrew Bynum trade late Monday night, it appears Dunleavy will step into the starting five at the three. Even if he isn't the starting small forward, he is likely to see a lot more run, and therefore Fantasy appeal. At this price level, given his new role, he is a steal.
Ersan Ilyasova, F, Milwaukee ($7003 vs GS): Bucks F John Henson (ankle) has already been ruled OUT for Tuesday's game, so Ilyasova is projected to be in the starting five again. He posted 12 points, four rebounds and a steal in his last outing in Phoenix over the weekend, and he is a great play at this salary level.
