Kawhi Leonard remains a strong Daily Fantasy value Wednesday

SO YOU WANT A BIG TICKET ITEM?
Kevin Love, PF, Minnesota ($11600 vs ATL): If you are looking to spend a huge chunk of salary on one guy, Love is your man. He'll be facing an Atlanta Hawks scoring defense which allows 102.3 points per game. Love managed just 27.4 Fantasy points last time out in Memphis, but they're a much more stout team defense. Before that dud by his standards, Love had 43.5 or more Fantasy points in four straight games, and seven of the past eight. Look for Kevlar to return to those types of levels yet again Wednesday.
Kawhi Leonard, SF, San Antonio ($6700 vs DEN): The Nuggets are allowing 105.9 points per game, so Leonard is must-play at his salary level. Over the past 10 games, he has at least 24.7 Fantasy points, and he has 11 or more points with five or more rebounds in nine of those games. More importantly, Leonard has averaged 1.1 BPG and 1.5 SPG over the past 10 games, which at two Fantasy points apiece is a nice little bonus. Look for Leonard to come in around 32 to 36 Fantasy points in this one.
Tiago Splitter, C, San Antonio ($5400 vs DEN): Splitter was rested Monday against Philadelphia, but he was not nursing any known injury and will play Wednesday. He is back against a terrible scoring defense, and he should pick right up where he left off in Oakland Saturday, posting 41.3 Fantasy points at Golden State. He had 25.2 or more Fantasy points in four straight games, averaging 13.0 PPG, 10.8 RPG and 1.8 BPG during the impressive span. At this price level, he is a must-have.
Dion Waiters, SG, Cleveland ($6000 at DET): Waiters has been on fire lately, stepping up his game in the absence of injured PG Kyrie Irving (biceps). Waiters has at least 34.3 Fantasy points in four of the past five games, and 23.1 or more Fantasy points in seven consecutive outings. Over the past four games, he is averaging 25.5 PPG with 5.3 APG and 3.5 RPG. He is performing like an elite-type Daily Fantasy option, but he comes with a tremendously low salary. Don't miss the boat.
If you spend big up top, you're going to need some fillers to bring down your average per player salary. Check out these steals from the bargain bin:
Jarrett Jack, PG, Cleveland ($5000 at DET): Jack is averaging 18.3 PPG, 7.0 APG and 4.7 RPG with 1.0 BPG over the past three games, picking up the slack with Irving on the mend. Jack will likely fill up the stat sheet nicely yet again, as he faces a Detroit Pistons team defense which is yielding 103.8 points per game, second-worst in the Eastern Conference.
Ray McCallum, PG, Sacramento ($3500 vs NY): McCallum could potentially get the start if PG Isaiah Thomas (quadriceps) is held out of the lineup. Thomas did not practice Tuesday, and he considered questionable Wednesday. Double back around and check Twitter for the latest on Thomas. If he is officially ruled out, McCallum is an outstanding value since he'll likely get starter's minutes at a deep bench player's price tag.
Josh McRoberts, PF, Charlotte ($5000 vs BRK): Josh McBob has been very steady across the board lately, going for 18.1 or more Fantasy points in 10 consecutive games. He won't roll up huge stats, but rarely will he disappoint, too. If you need salary relief, and don't want to punt one of your spots completely, McRoberts is your man.
Tristan Thompson, PF, Cleveland ($4900 at DET): Over the past three games, Thompson is averaging 11.3 PPG with 9.7 RPG and 1.0 SPG, and he has at least 20.3 Fantasy points in each of the outings, and 27.9 or more Fantasy points in two of the games. Thompson has stepped up his play at the offensive end, and he'll have a productive outing against the Pistons and their weak team defense.
