There are 15 games in Major League Baseball Monday, May 26.
Be sure to check out the $50,000 MLB Pick 'Em Survivor League at DraftStreet.com
The contest lasts from May 27-30, and 625 out of 5,000 entrants finish in the money with the winner receiving $10,000. It will cost a mere $11. On Day 1, of the 5,000 entrants, 2,500 advance to Day 2. On Day 2, 2,500 is halved to 1,250 moving on. For those who make the cut after the first two days, 625 will advance on Day 3. Everyone who makes it to Day 4 gets paid, splitting up the $50,000 in prizes. It is simple, too. Just pick one player from eight tiers. Point totals are reset after each round. Good luck!

Drew Hutchison, SP, Toronto (vs TB - EARLY): Hutchison allowed just three hits and three walks with four strikeouts over 5 1/3 scoreless innings for a win in his first start of the season at Tampa Bay April 1. And lately, he has been very good, going 2-1 with a 3.00 ERA with 21 strikeouts over 27 innings in four May starts.
Brandon McCarthy, SP, Arizona (vs SD - LATE): At first glance, a guy with a 1-5 record and 4.71 ERA is not who you want in Daily Fantasy. But that only win was a dominant performance May 3 in San Diego when he allowed just three hits with one walk and six strikeouts over seven scoreless innings. And since April 2011, McCarthy is 3-1 with a 1.67 ERA in four starts against San Diego.
Ervin Santana, SP, Atlanta (vs BOS - EARLY): Sooner or later the Boston bats are going to come alive in a big way, as their now 10-game losing streak cannot go on forever. But a matchup with Santana is not favorable, and there is good for Daily Fantasy owners. In five starts against the Red Sox since the starts of the 2011 season, Santana has 29 strikeouts in 28 innings.
Edwin Encarnacion, 1B, Toronto (vs TB - LATE): Encarnacion faces a favorable matchup against Rays LHP Erik Bedard. Encarnacion has clubbed eight homers with 13 RBI over his past 10 games, so strike while the iron hot, especially against a rag arm like Bedard.
Ian Kinsler, 2B, Detroit (at OAK - EARLY): Kinsler is tied with Cleveland Indians OF Michael Brantley for the longest active hitting streak in the majors at 11. With a lefty on the hill, Kinsler has a good chance to extend that streak. He is hitting .381 (16-for-42) with three doubles, a homer, six RBI and a .919 OPS against LHP this season, and he is a career .308 hitter (4-for-13) against Oakland Athletics SP Tommy Milone.
Reid Brignac, SS-3B, Philadelphia (vs COL - EARLY): Brignac and INF Cesar Hernandez (also a good play if Brignac is not starting) will fill in for the injured Cody Asche (hamstring) at the hot corner. Brignac has an ultra-low Daily Fantasy salary, and if he gets just a hit or two, he'll pay for himself. Including him (if he starts) will allow you to shuttle more funds to stock up on stud pitching, too.
Ian Desmond, SS, Washington (vs MIA - EARLY): Desmond comes with a lighter price tag than, say, Colorado's Troy Tulowitzki, but he has similar power and is a much cheaper Daily Fantasy option. Desmond has a modest five-game hitting streak, and he has two homers and four RBI during the span.
Jose Reyes, SS, Toronto (vs TB - LATE): Reyes is hitting a solid .353 (12-for-34) during his current eight-game hitting streak, and he will be at home for a favorable matchup against Rays retread Bedard. Reyes has also snagged five stolen bases over his past four outings.
A.J. Pierzynski, C, Boston (at ATL - EARLY): Pierzynski is in the lineup for Monday's game at Atlanta, and he has been hitting well. He had a three-hit game Sunday, and is 9-for-22 (.409) with a homer and three RBI during his current five-game hitting streak.
Michael Brantley, OF, Cleveland (at CHW - EARLY): Brantley is hitting well during his 11-game hitting streak, posting two homers, eight RBI and 10 runs scored. He has owned Chicago White Sox LHP Jose Quintana, posting a .462 average (6-for-13) with two doubles, a homer, three RBI and a 1.313 OPS. Many might look at a lefty-lefty matchup as unfavorable, but Brantley is a .306 hitter against southpaws as opposed to .301 against righties.
George Springer, OF, Houston (at KC - LATE): Springer arrived to the majors with a great deal of hype, then scuffled in his first couple of weeks. However, Daily Fantasy owners are starting to see why the experts thought so highly of this guy. He has hit safely in seven straight, and has four homers, 10 RBI and an .885 slugging percentage during the impressive run while hitting .346 (9-for-26).
