New Paris Saint-Germain Top Laner Pulls Off Insane Tower Dive
Just because you aren't playing on the big stage doesn't mean you can't make noise. Challenger squad Paris Saint-Germain recently picked up solo queue star Matti "WhiteKnight" Sormunen and he wasted little time showing off his skills.
Volume Warning: The casters get pretty hyped...
My french is a little rusty but I'm sure what they said was along the lines of "Oh my goodness, that was sick." Or at least some variation of that.
After what looks like a missed Gragas barrel, WhiteKnight adapts and hits Maokai with his exploding cask right onto the ticking barrel. He then body slam-flash combo's to finish him off. Not only is the cask very finicky with direction at times but the E-flash over the incoming minion was pixel perfect.
For a newcomer on a team, especially one splitting time with another top laner, this is the kind of play that earns you the starting gig. PSG has struggled so far in the EU CS but won their first series with WhiteKnight in the line-up. Of course, WhiteKnight has been a solo queue legend for a while but hasn't transitioned to pro play because of his education. If he keeps pulling off plays like this, it's only a matter of time until he's front and center.
