Alex Smith of the Washington Football Team is inactive for the game Saturday versus the Buccaneers due to a calf injury. This is not a surprise as Smith barely saw the practice field this week. Smith can throw the football but has very little mobility due to the injury. In his absence, Taylor Heinicke will start. In his lone start this season versus the Panthers, Heinicke was 12-19 for 137 yards and a touchdown.
The Washington Football Team was always going to have a tough time in this game, as the spread indicates; they are 10 point underdogs (-106). In the best of times, it’s a struggle on offense for WFT. Life is unlikely to get much better with Heinicke behind center. The over/under for this game is 44.5 (-110), should that be how you plan to attack this contest.
