Buccaneers Running Back Ronald Jones Hopes to Return to Practice on Thursday

Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones was not at Wednesday’s practice, but head coach Bruce Arians hopes he’ll practice on Thursday. Jones has been battling a quad injury, which kept him out of Saturday’s Wild Card matchup against the Washington Football Team. Washington did have fellow running back LeSean McCoy return to practice after a bout with an undisclosed illness last week.
It will be interesting to see what Washington decides to do at the running back position, with Jones, McCoy, and even Leonard Fournette all available for selection.
Fournette was the feature back in last week’s win over Washington. The former LSU product had his best game as a Buccaneer is 132 yards from scrimmage and a rushing touchdown.
Fournette is the most expensive of the three backs at FanDuel right now with a price tag of $11,000. Jones is priced at $10,500 while McCoy will cost $5,000. Keep in mind that it’s unlikely that all three backs will be active on Sunday.
