C.J. McCollum Will Miss at Least a Week With Foot Injury

The Blazers are going to be without half of their dynamic backcourt for at least a week. McCollum sprained his foot Saturday vs. the Hawks, and he has been ruled out for at least the next four games. McCollum is in the midst of his best season as a pro, averaging 26.7 points per game while shooting 47.3% from the field and 44.1% from 3-point range. Rodney Hood has already been confirmed as the starter in place of McCollum for Monday’s matchup vs. the Spurs.
Jusuf Nurkic will also miss an extended period of time after undergoing surgery on his right wrist, which opens up plenty of opportunities for the rest of the roster. Damian Lillard is a good bet to lead the team in usage, while Carmelo Anthony (+5.5%) and Anfernee Simons (+4.4%) have seen the biggest bumps in usage with McCollum and Nurkic off the court.
