He was reportedly clocked at 4.28 seconds, which is fast even by NFL standards. There have only been seven players who have run the 40-yard dash in less than 4.28 seconds at the combine, led by Chris Johnson’s mark of 4.24 in 2008. Of course, we should be skeptical of unofficial 40 times — hand timers tend to be much more friendly than the official technology used at the combine — but it’s impressive nonetheless.
