The number keeps growing for the Vancouver Canucks as they’re now up to eight players who have tested positive for the coronavirus.
TSN’s hockey insider, Darren Dreger, was one of the first to report on this development.
It was just yesterday when the league announced that two players and a member of the coaching staff were entering the league’s COVID-19 protocols after testing positive with the virus. Subsequently, the NHL postponed all of Vancouver’s games through Tuesday.

While the league originally hoped that Vancouver would resume on Thursday, April 8th, this new wave of positive tests could further delay those plans. This isn’t the first time that a team in the North Division has had a stoppage. The Montreal Canadiens recently returned from a 10-day layoff.
