Christian Wood (Knee) Questionable Wednesday vs. Pacers
January 6Matt LaMarcaSportsGrid
Wood was added to the Rockets’ injury report on Wednesday with a knee injury and is officially questionable vs. the Pacers. Wood has been fantastic for the Rockets this season, averaging 23.6 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game. The result is an average of 45.4 FanDuel points through his first five contests.
If he’s unable to suit up, DeMarcus Cousins seems like the most logical choice to replace him in the starting lineup. He was ejected after just 2.9 minutes of playing time in the Rockets’ last game, but he’s averaged a stout 1.60 FanDuel points per minute this season. He would become an excellent value option on FanDuel if he sees more playing time vs. the Pacers. P.J. Tucker could also see a few additional minutes at center if Wood is ultimately ruled out.
