Jones was unable to play last week vs. the Browns, but he was able to start this week by practicing on Wednesday. The Athletic’s Dan Duggan said Jones was “moving better than last week” but “still had a hitch in his gait after he throws”.
The Giants are stuck between a rock and a hard place at the quarterback position at the moment. Jones was dreadful while playing through an injury vs. the Cardinals in Week 14, but Colt McCoy was arguably even worse last week vs. the Browns. He managed to lead the Giants to just six points one week after the Ravens scored 47. The poor quarterback play in New York makes it hard to trust any of the Giants’ pass-catchers in fantasy.
The Giants are also fighting for their playoff lives. Their just one game behind the Washington Football Team in the NFC East standings, but the Cowboys and Eagles have played much better recently. They need a win this week to stay in contention, but they’re currently listed as 10.5-point underdogs on FanDuel Sportsbook for a road matchup vs. the Ravens.
