Bad news for the Phoenix Suns, as Jon Bloom reports that Devin Booker is out of tonight’s contest against the Denver Nuggets with a left hamstring strain.
Booker is an integral part of the Suns’ offense. He averages 22.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.1 assists while playing over 35 minutes a game. Langston Galloway is next on the Suns’ depth chart at shooting guard, but it could be Cameron Payne that steps into the starting lineup tonight. Payne averages more points on a better shooting percentage than Galloway and averages 17.9 minutes per game than Galloway’s 9.5. Payne is priced as a back-up with a $3,900 salary on FanDuel.
Tonight is the second night of a back-to-back for the Suns and Nuggets, after last night’s 130-126 Nuggets win in overtime. FanDuel Sportsbook has a total set at 216.5, and the Suns are 3 point home underdogs.
