New Orleans Pelicans beat writer Will Guillory confirmed that Eric Bledsoe would be back in the starting lineup Sunday night against the Sacramento Kings after dealing with right eye irritation.
Bledsoe’s presence will be a welcome change for the Pelicans’ backcourt. The Pelicans dropped both games without Bledsoe and Lonzo Ball in the starting line, although Bledsoe came off the bench against the Los Angeles Lakers last time. Lonzo Ball has missed the last two games with bilateral knee injuries.
Bledsoe is middle of the pack on the Pels averaging 11.3 points per game on 43.6% shooting.
The Pelicans have dropped five in a row but are 2.5 road chalk in Sacramento. The total is set at 226.5.
