Matt Maiocco of NBC reports that George Kittle has returned to practice with the 49ers after being out for more than a month due to a fractured foot. While Kittle isn’t expected to play this week against the Cowboys, San Francisco will have up to 21 days to decide whether to activate him per NFL rules.
Jordan Reed, who missed five games earlier this season, has gotten the bulk of the targets for San Francisco at the tight end position. However, Reed hasn’t been able to match Kittle’s effectiveness. Reed is only averaging 8.9 yards per game and has just one touchdown since scoring twice in Week 2 against the Jets.
Early money continues to pour in on San Francisco as they’ve moved from a one-point favorite to as high as three points over at FanDuel.
