Ja Morant will be making his triumphant return to the Memphis Grizzlies lineup on Saturday night, as per Adrian Wojnarowski. The second-year point guard has missed eight games with an ankle injury.
Morant got off to a hot start, scoring 44 and 28 in his only two full games before leaving early against the Brooklyn Nets on December 28. Since then, the Grizzlies’ offence has taken a bit of a hit, averaging 103.0 points per game without Morant compared to 115.7 with him in the lineup. Considering the length of time that Morant has been out, don’t be surprised if he’s on a minutes restriction. That could limit his upside, particularly when you look at his $8,500 salary on FanDuel.
The line moved in the Grizzlies favour on news that Morant was active, bringing the Grizz from +2 to +1.5. The total is set at 222.0.
