Ja Morant Will Play Wednesday vs. Hawks; Justise Winslow, Brandon Clarke, and De’Anthony Melton Ruled Out
April 7Matt LaMarcaSportsGrid
The Grizzlies are going to be shorthanded for Wednesday’s matchup vs. the Hawks, but the good news is that they will have their best player in the lineup. Morant headed to the locker room grabbing his lower back area during Tuesday’s win over the Heat, but he will be available to play vs. the Hawks. Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ends for the Grizzlies. Brandon Clarke will miss his second-straight game due to a calf injury, and Winslow and Melton have been ruled out as well.
The offense should flow through Morant vs. the Hawks, but Kyle Anderson is one of the biggest beneficiaries from their current injury situation. He’s increased his fantasy production to 1.06 FanDuel points per minute with Clarke, Winslow, and Melton off the court this season. Killian Tillie, Xavier Tillman, and John Konchar have also played a few additional minutes in played of the injured members of the Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies are currently listed as two-point underdogs vs. the Hawks on FanDuel Sportsbook.
