Jamal Murray (elbow) Hopeful for Friday’s Matchup vs. Suns
December 31Matt LaMarcaSportsGrid
Murray missed the Nuggets’ last game, but he is hopeful of returning to the lineup on Friday vs. the Suns. The Nuggets were able to secure a victory without Murray, ultimately losing by 10 points to the Kings. The Nuggets have had a rough start in general this season, limping to a 1-3 record through their first four games. Murray’s return should help, but he’s going to need to play better than he has to start the year. He’s averaged just 27.94 FanDuel points per game and has shot just 39.5% from the field.
The Nuggets are also expected to have JaMychal Green available on Friday for the first time all season. He’s not expected to be a huge part of their rotation, but he should see a handful of minutes off the bench.
