Paul Garcia reports Jamal Murray will miss Wednesday’s game between the Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs due to a lingering knee injury.
Murray has missed one game due to the injury, last playing in an Apr. 4 119-109 win against the Orlando Magic. He played 37 minutes, scoring 22 points, five rebounds and four assists. This season, he has started 47 games, averaging 35 points, 21 minutes, four rebounds and five assists per game. He is second on the team in usage, behind Nikola Jokic, with a 24.8% usage rate.
Monte Morris will start in place of Murray on Wednesday. Morris, who recently returned to the rotation after missing several games due to a quad injury, is expected to be on a minutes limit. In an Apr. 6 134-119 win against the Detroit Pistons, Morris played 23 minutes, scoring 10 points, two rebounds and four assists. He is priced at $3,800 on FanDuel.
