Robinson was already dealing with a knee injury, which caused him to be limited at practice earlier in the week, and he added an ankle injury on Sunday vs. the Ravens. The Jaguars listed him as questionable to return in that contest, but he never ended up making it back onto the field.
The undrafted rookie has had a phenomenal first year in Jacksonville. He’s racked up 1070 yards on the ground and averaged 4.5 yards per carry, and he’s also added 49 catches and 344 yards through the air. He’s also scored 10 total touchdowns, which makes him the fourth-highest scoring running back on the season. Not too shabby for a guy making the league minimum.
If he’s unable to suit up in Week 16 vs. the Bears, expect Dare Ogunbowale to serve as the primary ball carrier. Ogunbowale has received just four carries this season, but he was a solid receiving option out of the backfield last season in Tampa Bay. He finished with 35 catches on 46 targets, so he could have some fantasy appeal. That said, the Bears do represent a difficult matchup, ranking fifth in Football Outsiders’ rush defense DVOA.
