The New York Jets have wasted little time in listing wide receiver Jamison Crowder as questionable for Sunday when they take on the Rams in Los Angeles. Crowder has been slowed by injuries to both calf muscles and was only a limited participant on Thursday after being held out of Wednesday’s practice.
Last week against the Seahawks, Crowder was on the field for 72% of the Jets’ snaps and was targeted four times, with two catches, for seven yards. Breshad Perriman actually led the Jets with seven targets, though he could only muster up 26 yards for his efforts.
New York failed to score a touchdown in Seattle, and now they’ll face a Rams team that’s ranked third in defensive DVOA by Football Outsiders. That’s a steep climb up from the Seahawks defense that’s ranked 19th in defensive DVOA. Perhaps this is one fantasy week you’ll want to fill your roster without any Jets’ players involved.
