Joe Ingles and Juwan Morgan Out, Derrick Favors Probable Sunday

The Utah Jazz are tipping their hand ahead of their contest with the Denver Nuggets on Sunday. Eric Walden noted that Joe Ingles (right achilles) and Juwan Morgan (covid-19 protocols) are out and Derrick Favors (right knee) is probable.
Ingles and Favors have been integral off the Jazz bench averaging 25.9 and 16.3 minutes per game, respectively. Morgan, who has been out since January 3 due to health and safety protocols, has been used more sparingly at 3.3 minutes per contest.
Ingles absence opens up more minutes for Donovan Mitchell, while Favors will reduce the burden on Rudy Gobert. Defence isn’t the Nuggets forte as they are allowing opponents to score 112.3 points per game this season. That makes Mitchell and his $7,800 salary at FanDuel an appealing proposition for Sunday’s main slate.
