Brown has missed each of the past three games with a calf injury, but Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that he will return to practice this week. Brown is eligible to come off the IR this week, and he could theoretically suit up for the Bills’ Saturday contest vs. the Broncos in Denver. That said, it remains to be seen if he will actually get the green light.
Gabriel Davis has emerged as a solid fantasy option in Brown’s absence. He’s scored a touchdown in each of his past three games, and he’s coming off eight targets last week vs. the Steelers. Cole Beasley has also seen a spike in production recently, and he’s seen at least 10 targets in three of his past four games.
Of course, Stefon Diggs remains the go-to wide receiver for Josh Allen in the passing game. He leads the league with 100 catches through the first 14 weeks, and his 89.8 receiving yards per game ranks fourth.
The Broncos will present a tough matchup for the Bills passing attack in Week 15 – they currently rank seventh in the league in pass defense DVOA – but they are a bit weaker with Bryce Callahan currently on the IR. Diggs and Josh Allen had no problems against the Steelers’ elite pass defense in Week 14, and both players are elite fantasy options regardless of the matchup.
