Collins has missed the Hawks’ last five games due to an ankle injury, and the team announced on Thursday that he would miss at least another week. He’s seen a slight reduction in playing time this season, but he’s still been a key contributor for the team. Collins has averaged 18.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, and the Hawks have increased their Net Rating by +5.2 points per 100 possessions with Collins on the court.
His absence has allowed Clint Capela to play a few more minutes recently. He’s averaged 19.5 points and 14.3 rebounds with Collins over his past four games, and he’s scored at least 48.0 FanDuel points in three of those contests.
Unfortunately, Capela was also out of the lineup for the Hawks’ last contest, and his status for Friday’s matchup vs. the Bulls, and Onyeka Okongwu would become an interesting DFS option if Capela is out again. He started in place of Capela on Wednesday and finished with 33.7 FanDuel points over 32.3 minutes.
