Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reported Seahawks wide receiver Josh Gordon will not be able to practice and is ineligible to play. According to Condotta, Gordon did not meet all of requirements of his reinstatement. Gordon is suspended for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. It was originally reported Monday Gordon would be active for the Seahawks Week 16 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.
Gordon last played in 2019 for the Seahawks. In 11 games, he was targeted 47 times, generating 426 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
The Seahawks rely heavily on two main weapons in their receiving corps, D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, who are responsible for 47% of the team’s target market share. Metcalf and Lockett are priced at $7,700 and $6,900 on FanDuel respectively. They will face a Los Angeles Rams defense that has allowed the least points to wide receivers at 16.18 points per game.
