Once again, LeBron James finds himself on the Los Angeles Lakers injury report. According to Jovan Buha, James is dealing with a left ankle sprain, and his participation in Friday night’s contest is questionable. King James has played at least 26 minutes in all five of the Lakers contests and currently leads the team in scoring and assists.
If James can’t go, the Lakers’ offense will run through Anthony Davis. Davis is second on the team in scoring and leads Los Angeles in rebounding. That could spell a big day for him against the San Antonio Spurs. Davis shot 60.0% against the Spurs on Wednesday night, collecting eight rebounds, three assists, and a +17 point differential. If Wednesday night was any indication, it doesn’t look like the Spurs have the capacity to limit the Lakers big man. Davis is currently priced at $10,500 at FanDuel.
The Lakers are 7 point chalk with a total of 230.5 ahead of tipoff.
