Scott Agness reports Malcolm Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner will miss Wednesday’s matchup between the Indiana Pacers and Minnesota Timberwolves. Brogdon is dealing with a hip injury and Sabonis and Turner are dealing with an ankle injury.
Brogdon has missed playing time since Mar.31, where he played 31 minutes, scoring seven points, seven rebounds and two assists in a 92-87 loss to the Miami Heat. In 44 games this season, Brogdon has averaged 35 minutes, scoring 21 points, five rebounds and six assists per game.
Sabonis has missed two games due to the ankle injury, last playing in a 114-97 loss to the Charlotte Hornets, scoring eight points, 10 rebounds and four assists in 27 minutes. Playing in 47 games this season, he has averaged 36 minutes, 20 points, 11 rebounds and six assists per game.
Turner last played in Tuesday’s 113-97 loss to the Chicago Bulls, leaving the game after playing 20 minutes, scoring 10 points and four rebounds. He has averaged 31 minutes, 13 points, six rebounds, and one assist per game for the season.
Expect T.J. McConnell, Doug McDermott and Goga Bitadze to see an increase in minutes during Wednesday’s matchup.
