The rumors of Matthew Stafford’s fantasy death may have been greatly exaggerated. It was initially thought the Lions quarterback was almost assuredly not healthy enough to play this week. But according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the 32-year-old is now questionable after practicing on Friday. Stafford wasn’t expected to practice at all this week but was able to get in some limited work ahead of the Titans game. He will travel with the team to Tennessee and be available should things go well in pre-game warmups.
If Stafford can’t go, Chase Daniel would get the sixth start of his 11 season career. Even going against a Titans team giving up the fourth-most fantasy points to quarterback Daniel should be avoided in all formats.
