Nets’ Kyrie Irving is expected to play Wednesday vs. Cavaliers
The Nets Big Three will finally make their long-awaited debut on Wednesday night against the Cavaliers. Kyrie Irving will return against the team that drafted him first overall in 2011 after missing the past seven games over two weeks due to personal reasons. He’ll be teamed up with Kevin Durant and James Harden for the three superstars’ first game together as starting unit. It could be a stiff opening test for the Grande Tres as Cleveland has built themselves up to the second best defensive team in the NBA, trailing just Kyrie’s former teammate and ex-Cavalier LeBron James and the Lakers. It’s hard to imagine Irving will play regular minutes after this long absence, so you might want to hold on to whoever you had plugged in from Brooklyn for the short term.
