NHL postpones Hurricanes-Predators game because of Carolina COVID-19 situation
Yet another professional sports match has been affected by the pandemic. According to the TSN’s Pierre LeBrun, Tuesday’s game between Carolina and Nashville has been postponed because of a COVID-19 situation within the Hurricanes organization. It’s unclear at this point if there’s been a positive test or if there’s a contact tracing issue. The two teams played the first-leg of their back-to-back on Monday when the Canes down the Preds 4-2. This will be the fourth game postponed in the NHL this season after the Dallas Stars had their first three games moved because 17 players tested positive for COVID-19 in training camp. Make sure you take any Hurricanes and Predators out of your fantasy lineup for a seven-game slate in the National Hockey League on Tuesday night.
