The Raptors have a couple of key injuries to monitor heading into Wednesday night’s matchup vs. the Bucks. Pascal Siakam has missed the past two games with a knee injury, and he’s currently questionable vs. Milwaukee. Anunoby has also popped up on the injury report with a calf injury, and he’s also listed as questionable. Both players are averaging at least 34.8 minutes per game this season, so it would open up a bunch of playing time if both are unable to suit up. Normal Powell would likely draw the start if either one of those players can’t suit up, and Stanley Johnson would join him if both ultimately ruled out.
Powell has been a nice source of fantasy value when given a chance to start recently. He’s started each of the past three games for the Raptors — once in place of Siakam, twice in place of Kyle Lowry — and he’s scored at least 30.4 FanDuel points in all three outings. His price has increased for tonight’s matchup vs. the Bucks, but he would still have appeal if he draws another start.
Fred VanVleet would be another potential beneficiary. He’s increased his production to 1.41 FanDuel points per minute with Siakam and Anunoby off the court this season, which is the largest increase on the team.
Whoever is in the lineup will face a tough task vs. the Bucks, and the Raptors are currently listed as six-point home underdogs on FanDuel Sportsbook.
