Pascal Siakam Ruled Out Monday vs. Pacers; Kyle Lowry Will Play
January 25Matt LaMarcaSportsGrid
Siakam and Lowry both missed Sunday’s matchup vs. the Pacers, and both players were listed as questionable for Monday’s rematch. That said, Lowry will officially be in the lineup, while Siakam has been ruled out with a knee injury.
Assuming Lowry isn’t limited, he stands out as one of the biggest beneficiaries of Siakam’s absence. He’s increased his usage rate by +3.0% with Siakam off the court this season, resulting in an average of 1.12 FanDuel points per minute.
Norman Powell and Stanley Johnson replaced Lowry and Ibaka in the starting lineup on Sunday, but one of them will have to return to the bench on Monday. Johnson has more size — which makes him a more natural fit at power forward — but the Raptors could choose to start Powell and shift OG Anunoby to power forward. Johnson will be an appealing value option if he draws another start since he’s priced at the absolute minimum on FanDuel.
The Raptors are currently listed as three-point underdogs vs. the Pacers on FanDuel Sportsbook.
