Patrick Mahomes Limited During Thursday’s Practice

Mahomes was once again listed as limited at practice, but he remains the favorite to start Sunday vs. the Bills. He reportedly took all the reps at Wednesday’s practice despite the limited designation, and he took most of the reps on Thursday. He is still in the league’s concussion protocol, but the fact that he’s practicing is undoubtedly a positive for his outlook. As ESPN’s Adam Teicher stated, “The Chiefs wouldn’t be using all of this practice time on a QB who they didn’t think was going to play.”
If Mahomes is surprisingly inactive, Chad Henne would draw the start vs. the Bills. Henne was able to survive vs. the Browns last week, but it would obviously be a massive downgrade at the position.
Still, the Chiefs are currently listed as three-point home favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook.
