Patrick Mahomes Will Have a “Light Practice” on Wednesday

Mahomes was unable to finish the Chiefs’ AFC Divisional Round playoff matchup vs. the Browns after entering the league’s concussion protocol. That said, he appears to be trending in the right direction. He will reportedly go through a “light practice” on Wednesday — so he’ll likely be listed as limited or a DNP — but he reportedly has “no symptoms”. Mahomes is also dealing with a foot injury, but all signs point to him be available Sunday vs. the Bills.
The Chiefs managed to survive without Mahomes vs. the Browns, but they will need him back in the lineup this Sunday. The Bills have been the best team in the league in terms of Football Outsiders’ weighted DVOA, which places a heavier premium on games that occurred later in the season. The Chiefs are currently listed as three-point home favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook, and their +210 odds to win the Super Bowl are tied with the Packers for the shortest in the field.
