It appears that Patrick Williams will return to the Chicago Bulls starting lineup Friday night against the Charlotte Hornets. Rick Bonnell tweeted that the Bulls’ starting small forward is probable to play in his home town.
Williams has started 13 of the Bulls’ 14 games this season, and his only absence came in the Bulls 125-120 win over the Houston Rockets on Monday. The rookie is averaging 10.2 points per game and 3.8 rebounds. Williams has been shooting the ball better recently, connecting 53.3% of his shots over his last six games. He’s also been a solid contributor defensively, posting 0.2 defensive win shares on the season. Williams carries a $4,600 salary on tomorrow’s DFA slate at FanDuel.
The Bulls are 3.5 point underdogs and +134 on the moneyline. A total has not yet been set for the game.
