Rams activate Cooper Kupp from reserve/COVID-19 list
It looks like receiver Cooper Kupp will play in the Rams wildcard game against division rival Seattle. LA activated Kupp from the COVID list on Wednesday ahead of their playoff game with the Seahawks on Saturday. Kupp was placed on the list on December 29 and missed the Rams Week 17 game with the Cardinals.
Whether Jared Goff (thumb) is healthy enough to play or if it’s John Wolford getting his second straight start, Kupp will be a very welcome addition to the passing game. Wolford played pretty well in his first career start against Arizona, putting up 231 passing yards, but it was apparent the Rams missed Kupp’s presence in the slot.
LA’s top receiver has played well against Seattle this season. Kupp’s 13 catches in two games over the Seahawks is the most receptions for the wideout against any team this season.
