Robert Woods Good to go Against the NY Jets
If the NY Jets have done one thing right this season, it’s giving up points to the opposition. That could be good news for Robert Woods, who was taken off the LA Rams injury report on Friday and is “officially good to go.”
Woods has been an integral part of the Rams offense again this season. He sits second on the team in receptions, targets, and receiving yards by the slimmest of margins but leads the team in receiving touchdowns. More recently, Woods has had all of Jared Goff’s attention, nabbing 34 of 46 targets over the last four weeks, totaling 327 yards and one touchdown.
What’s been more impressive is his ability to go for yards after the catch. According to PFF, since the start of the 2019 season, Woods leads all receivers in yards after the catch with 1050.
Woods has huge upside against the Jets on Sunday’s daily fantasy sports slate. Not only does he have the above metrics working in his favor, but the Jets have given up the second-most passing yards this season, and he’s modestly priced at $7,400 at FanDuel.
FanDuel Sportsbook also has the Rams team total set at 30 with the over juiced up to -116, which implies that they are expecting some fireworks from the Rams offensively.
With all that in mind, you might want to consider adding Woods to your DFS rosters.
