Westbrook suffered a dislocated finger on his shooting hand Wednesday vs. the 76ers, and his status is uncertain for Friday’s contest vs. the Celtics. Head coach Scott Brooks said Westbrook’s finger is still sore, and he was unable to practice on Thursday. Friday’s game is also the first of a back-to-back set, so Westbrook should be expected to rest in one of those contests regardless of his injury.
If Westbrook is ruled out, expect Bradley Beal to take on a larger role offensive. He was fantastic Wednesday vs. the 76ers, finishing with a whopping 60 points. He also chipped in seven rebounds and five assists, resulting in 74.9 FanDuel points. Beal has led the team with a usage rate of 39.0% with Westbrook off the court this season, and he’s averaged 1.49 FanDuel points per minute in that situation. Raul Neto has also been a solid fantasy option in two previous starts in place of Westbrook, averaging 28.15 FanDuel points per game.
