Serge Ibaka has been ruled out for the Los Angeles Clippers’ Sunday night contest against the Indiana Pacers. The veteran centre is out with a non-covid related illness, as per Rahshaun Haylock. It was also noted that Lou Williams would miss his second consecutive game with a hip injury.
2020-21 hasn’t been Ibaka’s most productive season. The 31-year-old has seen decreases to his points and rebounds per game averages. However, he remains a steadying defensive force, posting nine games with a positive plus-minus and positive defensive win shares on the season.
Ivica Zubac slots into the starting rotation after seeing action in all 13 of the Clippers games this season. Zubac has been productive on both ends of the court, posting 7.4 points per game on a career-high 72.2% true shooting percentage and collecting 4.5 boards per game. FanDuel has lofty expectations for the centre, as he’s carrying an $8,500 salary on the single-game slate.
You’ll be laying 8 points if you want a piece of the Clippers, with a modest 219 point total at FanDuel Sportsbook.
