Stefon Diggs is a Core Play vs. the Colts
Stefon Diggs is a strong play this weekend against the Colts. The big thing for Diggs is he is head and shoulders above everybody. In his slate, no one really comes close to him. The one guy you could say would, in a typical setting, would be Mike Evans. But now he’s banged up, which could lead to more work for Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown. So Diggs is just the clear top receiver on the slate by a full tier, maybe two tiers above everybody else.
John Brown is back now, which does alter how this team operates this team but even the games he’s played with a fully healthy Brown, Diggs is still at 28% of the Bills’ overall targets and 38% of the deep targets this year. Those are monster numbers, and it’s not going to be that tough to get because, unlike the Sunday’s slate, we have Derrick Henry; there aren’t many high salaries running backs to pay up for. We’re going to have the value to get to the Stefan Diggs on Saturday, and you’re going to want to because the advantage you get by having him in one of those three wide receiver slots will be huge over the other guys who could fill that slot.
Yes, the salary is high, but this game is a very good matchup for him. The Colts’ strength is not in their defensive secondary, so Diggs is well worth it. It is very clear he’s the No. 1 wide receiver on Saturday’s slate. The most essential piece is that he is just worlds better than every other wide receiver for $8,700 on FanDuel DFS. Diggs is the guy to build your lineup around on Saturday.
