The Chiefs top two running backs are questionable for AFC Championship game vs. Bills
Both Le’Veon Bell and Clyde Edwards-Helaire are listed as questionable on the injury report heading into the Chiefs AFC Championship clash with Buffalo on Sunday. Bell landed on the injury report on Thursday after experiencing swelling in his knee. After being held out of practice Thursday and unable to get much work in this week, it looks like Bell likely won’t suit up on Sunday. Edwards-Helaire, who was out last week against the Browns, is fully expected to play after being limited for every practice throughout the week. Edwards-Helaire has been dealing with a hip injury but looks to be trending in the right direction. It seems like Darrel Williams, who had 13 carries for 78 yards last week in the Chiefs divisional playoff game, should get the majority of carries even with Edwards-Helaire in the lineup.
