Vegas Helps You Pick Fantasy Defenses For Week 10
You were somehow able to survive the dreaded six-team bye week of Week 9. Whether you had to pick up a defense to replace the Cardinals or Seahawks, who were on byes, or you were streaming defenses, it was a tough week for the position.
Each week, we try to share with you a handful of the top Fantasy defenses according to the over/unders and point spreads as set by the handicappers in Las Vegas.
In Week 10, we’re getting the Cards and ‘Hawks back, but we’re also getting the Texans back two weeks after their big game against the Titans in Week 8.
The Falcons are on a bye this week, but the Chargers, Colts and 49ers were probably defenses you were avoiding in your lineup anyway.
We look at the upcoming matchups to find the lowest expected scoring games, and the games with the largest point spreads, indicating a defense that should dominate.
While a low-scoring game is usually indicative of an offense not producing, it also probably means the defense they’re facing will pick up plenty of turnovers and sacks.
Week 10 Point Spreads and Over-Under Lines
The numbers on the matchups are taken directly from Wednesday’s numbers at VegasInsider.com. The ownership percentages are from CBSSports.com’s Fantasy Football leagues. While some of these might be obvious plays (Seattle and St. Louis), you have to remember that this is helpful for Daily Fantasy users, as well.
