Washington Could Get a Boost With Antonio Gibson Limited at Practice

The Washington Football Team’s chances to win the division and clinch a playoff spot just received a boost with Antonio Gibson’s return to practice. Washington lost their star running back to a turf toe injury in Week 13 against the Steelers. Gibson was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday, which is a promising sign that he’s progressing in the right direction. He’s currently averaging 13.93 fantasy points per game and is listed at $6,600 over at FanDuel.
One notable name that was missing in Washington’s practice is their top wide receiver, Terry McLaurin. McLaurin has been battling an ankle injury, though his absence shouldn’t necessarily come as a surprise given that Washington has excused him from certain practices this season to manage his workload. He has 80 catches for 1,078 yards on the season and finished with 77 yards last week against Seattle.
McLaurin is a dynamic player for Washington, but they’ve been unable to get him the ball in the end zone. Surprisingly, he only has three touchdowns on the season.
His lack of touchdowns, however, hasn’t prevented him from commanding a decent price tag at $7,100.
