Of Course This Is How Floyd Mayweather Fired Back At Ronda Rousey
Floyd Mayweather is a perfect 48-0 in his boxing career. Ronda Rousey is a perfect 12-0 in her MMA career. Rousey has dominated the fighting news cycle recently thanks to her near-instant takedown of Bethe Correia at UFC 190 and "Fighter of the Year" win at this year's ESPYs. In accepting her award, Rousey took a jab at Mayweather, saying "I wonder how Floyd feels being beaten by a woman for once." Mayweather finally responded yesterday in the most Mayweather way possible.
Mayweather clearly didn't take kindly to Rousey reminding the American public that he's a woman-beater when he was asked about it on SportsCenter yesterday:
"I’ve yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes. When she can do that, then call me."
Of course. Of course he makes it all about his pay days. Of course the man who is nicknamed "Money" measures his fighting prowess on how much he can fleece the public for. Of course.
Meanwhile, Mayweather stuck to his claim that his upcoming fight against Andre Berto will be his last, even though we all know that's not true. Forget a Manny Pacquiao rematch, though -- let's get him in the ring with Ronda already.
