New York Giants Will be Shorthanded Sunday Night
Exactly two defensive snaps are the only plays that cornerback James Bradberry has missed so far this season. Unfortunately for him, and New York Giants fans alike, that is going to change come Sunday.
Bradberry will be unavailable due to covid issues, with Ian Rapoport also noting that Daniel Jones availability is unknown. The Giants will feel the Bradberry loss on the defensive side of the ball. Bradberry currently leads the NFL in passes defended, while pacing the Giants in interceptions and ranking second on the team in forced fumbles.
The biggest beneficiary of Bradberry’s absence might be Rashard Higgins. Higgins has accumulated 12 catches on 19 targets for 163 yards and two touchdowns over the last two weeks. Higgins is currently priced at $11,000 on FanDuel. Donovan Peoples-Jones could also be on people’s (see what I did there) radars. He’s had a knack for big plays over the last couple weeks, going for plays of 37 and 75 yards against the Ravens and Titans, respectively. He’s priced at $9,000 for Sunday’s slate.
The Giants limited depth at cornerback will be tested on Sunday, and if not handled properly, exploited by a Browns passing offense that seems to be picking up steam. Player props will be coming out in the near future and passing yard totals for the Browns receivers will be worth taking a look at.
