Remembering The Fallen: Game Of Thrones and Crying Jordan

I need to admit something. I don't get the Crying Jordan meme. I don't know why it's funny nor do I get why it's needed in every event in modern history. In fact the only time that I have ever found the Crying Jordan meme remotely humorous is when UNC lost the National Title game on the buzzer beater, with Michael Jordan in the crowd. Adding the Crying Jordan to Michael Jordan was funny. Putting Michael Jordan's face on random other athletes, actors, or politicians just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. So when stumbling upon this "Thrones" retrospective, I can readily admit, I don't get why this is funny.
Like I get why using the Sarah McLachlan theme in the background is ironically hilarious, since we all know it from the saving a pet commercial. But adding the Jordan meme does nothing. I would rather see Roose's actual face when he gets stabbed by Ramsay or Rickon Stark's actual face as he fails to swerve at all on the battle field.
Okay we have to admit the hounds eating Crying Jordan is hilarious. As is Crying Jordan's face hanging in the House of the Black and White. Twice. Yeah, is all of the Crying Jordans dying in the Sept when Cersei blows it up with the wildfire.
Shit, I'm now in on this aren't I? Dammit.
