PETA Set To Make A Fortune With This ‘Cecil’s Revenge’ Holloween Costume
Last week the enterprising folks at Costumeish.com rolled out their big item for Halloween -- a dentist costume complete with severed lion head, depicting Dr. Walter Palmer, who killed Cecil the Lion on a protected reserve in Zimbabwe.
As of the last time I checked, they hadn't sold a single one.
PETA, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, fired back. Please observe above, their "Revenge of Cecil" costume. Like me, PETA noticed a rather large mistake in the Costumeish.com version -- Palmer is in his dentist's smock, holding only dental tools.
But there is no way that Palmer would have been anywhere within 2,000 miles of a real lion without his gun, hunting gear and at least four guides. If he had faced a lion in only his smock, this surely would have been the result:
Halloween is still two months off, so save up and grab one of these babies before they're sold out. Proceeds will go to a good cause -- protecting animals -- and everyone in your neighborhood will know Palmer as the cowardly schmuck he really is.
I won't be buying one, because my Halloween costume is already set -- Cruel Circus Worker Stomped Flat By Elephant.
