According to The Dallas Morning News, Jana Weckerly, the woman who snapped photos of the billionaire owner, is suing him for sexual assault. The incident took place in 2009 when Jones was in a local hotel with three women. The photos surfaced last month, which included two of the three women. Via the paper, the details are creepy, if true:
Weckerly, 27, from Ardmore, Okla., said Jones fondled her genitals, forced her to touch or rub his penis, and required she watch as the 71-year-old Jones received oral sex from another woman.
Weckerly has not issued a statement since the lawsuit, but I'm sure the leaked photos triggered her actions this week. Jones' lawyer came down pretty heavy, flatly denying the whole ordeal, calling it a "money grab," via Pro Football Talk.
“These allegations are completely false,” McCathern said in a statement forwarded to PFT. “The legal complaint is unsupported by facts or evidence of any kind. This is nothing more than an attempt to embarrass and extort Jerry Jones. This is a shakedown by a lawyer who is a solo practitioner just trying to make a name for himself. The alleged incidents would have been more than five years old.
Just a friendly reminder: Jones has been married for over 50 years. Not like it matters much these days, but it is worth noting. It's also worth noting that Jones has an estimated net worth of $3 billion, according to Forbes. This could get messy.
