THROWBACK THURSDAY: The LA Rams Unavoidably Sexual Team Song, ‘Ram It’
Seeing as the Rams have returned to their original home (from 1946 to 1994), and it's Thursday, we felt obligated to drop this hilarious-bordering-on-creepy little video on our faithful readership. "Lets Ram It" was the 1986 Los Angeles Rams' theme song in much the same way "The Super Bowl Shuffle" was that of the 1985 Chicago Bears, except for the small distinction that the Rams' song was ONLY about sex. Not football, but forcing a penis into, er, something. (That part isn't clear.)
Center Dennis Harrah's verse:
I'm a mountain man from west VA
The call me Herc and I came to play
I learned long ago to Ram it just right
So I could Ram it all day and Ram it all night
We're sure you did, buddy -- and based on his hyper-sassy dance moves, we also sure linebacker Norwood Vann was ramming it just as much, if not more. If you've ever thought to yourself, "Why don't NFL teams do choreographed original music videos anymore?" Here's your answer...
Nice work guys...or should we say "The L.A. Rammers." Shoutout to "Rad Entertainment" for putting this all together, as well. Or does that say "Ram Entertainment"? It's hard to tell because this thing was filmed on a Betamax.
